Join us as we host a roundtable and community discussion with five artists from the Govett-Brewster’s collection. On occasion of the current exhibition, Ruth Buchanan The scene in which I find myself/Or, where does my body belong? we talk to five artists; Leon Narbey, Mary-Louise Browne, Paul Hartigan, Anne Noble and WharehokaSmith.
Each artist collected from one of the five decades the gallery has been open. Hanahiva Rose, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, will ask the artists how they respond to the questions and challenges raised by Buchanan’s exhibition and the practice of collecting, before opening the conversation to questions and comments from the audience.
