Join us on the final day of our current exhibitions for a talk with Tāmaki Makaurau based artist Emily Parr (Ngāi Te Rangi, Moana, Pākeha). This is a chance to hear Emily discuss her project currently on display in The Booth, as well as her wider practise.
Through the time spiral: ʻOli Ula reconstructs the artist’s great-great-grandparents’ family home which originally stood along the road from Gus Fisher Gallery at number nine Eden Crescent. The house was named ‘Oli Ula for a garland strung with the fragrant red flower of the Sāmoan ‘oli tree.
