Discover the site of the first official public television broadcast in Aotearoa in this special guided tour as we celebrate sixty years of TV in the building where it all began. Led by Gallery Coordinator and resident heritage expert Hannah Burgoyne, this is also a special opportunity to hear more about some of the amazing archival items included in our current exhibitions.

Explore stunning original photographs and ephemera lent by some of TVs finest while listening to illuminating stories of broadcasting's yesteryears. With a striking Neo-Romanesque facade and Art Deco interiors, this will be an enjoyable and informative tour of one of Auckland's unique heritage buildings.
