Please join Felicity and Mark at the opening of their latest exhibition, Case Studies III.
All welcome.
Case Studies III is part of an ongoing collaboration between Mark Smith & botanical artist Felicity Jones.
Their work explores the history of botanical globalisation, and in particular, plant exchanges between Britain & Aotearoa/New Zealand, as well as the profound influence of the Wardian case.
The project has lead to travels around New Zealand and England making images that juxtapose the botanical with the cultural, native with exotic.
