Josephine Jelicich is a furniture maker with a fine arts training. After graduating with a first-class honours degree in fine art from Massey University in 2016, she completed the furniture maker’s programme at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Whakatū Nelson in 2018. Now living in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Jelicich has worked as a technician at various galleries, a woodwork teacher at The Warren workshop, and now works as freelance woodworker and furniture designer.

Emergent maker Emile Drescher was born in 1991 in upstate New York and has lived most of his life in Aotearoa New Zealand. He is currently making things out of wood and has a small business taking commissions for bespoke furniture. Drescher lives in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland with his partner, Harry, their daughter, Ida, their two dogs, Ada and Red, and Pepi the cat.
