teatamira.nzJoin Te Atamira for an engaging Frottage workshop, where you'll explore the fascinating technique of creating textured art through rubbing. This hands-on program is perfect for all skill levels and will guide you from introductions to creating your very own layered frottage artwork. By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a unique piece of frottage artwork and a deeper understanding of this creative technique. Enjoy a day of exploration, creativity, and artistic connection!
A note from Anne Marie Hamilton: Frottage involves rubbing graphite over paper with a texture underneath to create unique images. As a printmaker, I’ve found frottage to be a fantastic creative outlet that I'm excited to develop further. With over 15 years of experience as an award-winning artist and educator, I truly believe in the power of art to connect people and tell meaningful stories. Right now, I’m diving into a Bachelor of Screen Arts, where I’m exploring historical narratives through contemporary art techniques. It's a thrilling journey!
