Described as ‘a cautionary tale about human endeavour in Aotearoa New Zealand’, Tai Moana Tai Tangata addresses the New Zealand Wars and their legacy through the architectures of war and war memorials. It developed out of the exhibition of the same name curated by Anna-Marie White for the Govett Brewster Art Gallery, New Plymouth, last year, which evolved from Graham’s 2019 Artist in Residency there.
