This day-long programme of talks and presentations is aimed at the non-public facing exhibition staff, registrars, collection managers and technicians working behind the scenes. It is an opportunity to come together to celebrate the hidden mahi being done in the gallery and museum sector. By sharing knowledge in this open and friendly forum, we hope to foster collegiality, identify common issues and think about ways of working together to make better use of shared resources.

The full programme will be announced shortly. Contributors include:

Amber Baldock, Manager Exhibition Services, Te Papa Tongarewa; Gary Collins, Exhibitions and Collections Manager, Pātaka Art + Museum; Andy Cummins, Head Technician and Production Coordinator, Te Pātaka Toi Adam Art Gallery / Exhibition Officer, Pātaka Art + Museum; Jon Geehan, Exhibitions Coordinator, Govett-Brewster Art Gallery; Casimar Larkin, Registrar – Touring, The Dowse Art Museum; Sally McMath, 2023 Adam Art Gallery intern, freelance researcher and project coordinator; Gerda Nana, Exhibitions and Projects Manager, The Dowse Art Museum; Alexis Pennington-Foster, Exhibitions Manager, City Gallery Wellington Te Whare Toi; Fiona Pohlen, Marketing and Membership Specialist, Museums Aotearoa; Sophia Smolenski, artist, fabricator & technician; and, Sophie Thorn, Collections Curator / Acting Director, Te Pātaka Toi Adam Art Gallery.
