The Handmade Darkroom is a photographic collective based in Te Whanganui-a-tara focused on exploring and expanding on the sustainability of analogue photography in the face of the enduring climate crisis.
In our Eco-toning for cyanotype workshop, the handmade darkroom facilitators, Belinda and Samson, will take you through toning from plant matter. Breaking down some basic science, and showing you what to look for. With time to experiment with different tones, and different intensities. We will tone the cyanotypes created in the previous workshops, so this is a great coupling of workshops.
