FFWD (Fast Forward) is the University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning’s public lecture series. For Making Ways Objectspace is hosting a series of FFWD breakfast interviews. On 9 October, Making Ways exhibiting practice Hatch is joined in the gallery by another practice and an interviewer to explore new and alternative ways of making architecture.

Hatch Workshop (Hannah Broatch and Mason Rattray) is a research and design partnership from New Zealand currently working in India specialising in corporate social responsibility design projects for the Global South. As a design - build duo, they collaborate with companies, local NGO’s and workers with an intention of improving the quality of housing, associated amenities and working environments through appropriate incremental interventions. Their goal is to bring dignity to the conditions of overlooked citizens.
