See Christchurch Art Gallery's newest commissioned video work and learn about post-internet life from this emergent artist.

Based in Ōtautahi, Issy Van Der Leden is a designer and artist whose work is influenced by an all-too-digital adolescence. Her practice uses video collage and soapboxing to crystallise the contemporary digital world, to unearth the structures and systems behind it, and to ask how we can use that world to steer the future towards a glittering, gleaming utopia. The first iteration of her work DOG DAYS was shown at Paludal Gallery. She completed her BFA(hons) at the Ilam School of Fine Arts in 2020.
