Working almost exclusively in Japanese Washi Tape, “...Veronica Herber explores infinite variables within the strictures of the grid. This demands from her a particular kind of attention, one that ceaselessly attends to the overlooked, the quickly passed-over, the smallest rupture or tremor in the rhythmic regularity of the grid.” (Dr Julie Teale, 2020).
Veronica Herber holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts with Distinction from AUT (2008-2011) and a PGDip in Fine Arts from Elam (2018). Herber’s work is held in The James Wallace Arts Trust Collection and in the Chartwell Collection. Herber has exhibited throughout Aotearoa as well as in Australia, Mexico and Cuba.
