Celebrate the exhibition Olafur Eliasson: Your curious journey at this Member-exclusive Late Night. This retrospective showcases the work of globally renowned Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, spanning over 30 years. In his wide-ranging practice – including installations, sculptures and photographs – Eliasson explores and draws attention to human perception, sensory experiences and the environment.

Unique to New Zealand’s presentation of this internationally touring exhibition is the special artwork Under the weather, 2022. Installed in the Gallery’s Te Ātea | North Atrium, you’ll be able to enjoy drinks and light snacks under its awe-inspiring light before you venture into the exhibition. The Gallery shop will be open until 8pm with Eliasson-inspired items – perfect gifts for the holiday season!
