John Minto is an activist who became well known as National Organiser for HART (Halt All Racist Tours) during the protests against the 1981 Springbok Tour to Aotearoa New Zealand. He has been active in many social justice issues in such areas as state housing, public education and human rights. John is retired from teaching and is currently the National Chair of the Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa.
