We are delighted to offer a second public event in association with Joyce Campbell’s exhibition, The Sunken City. Two weeks ago she discussed the environmental concerns that run through all her practice with Dr. Huhana Smith and Dr. Su Ballard.
This Sunday as part of the PhotoBook Festival on in Wellington this weekend, we present Joyce Campbell in conversation with Dr. Geoffrey Batchen of the University of Oxford, a world expert on photography, and art historian David Maskill, an expert on the history of prints and printmaking. They will discuss Campbell's exhibition, her associated artist book, her Piranesi prints which support the exhibition, and reproduction in the visual arts.
