On the opening day of Sione Tuívailala Monū's exhibition Stories, drop in and make your own memento of the show.

This workshop connects with Monū’s experimental work with nimamea’a tuitakala or the Tongan fine art of flower design. Visitors are invited to create their own kahoa or garland with fresh flowers.

Take the time to learn and make something beautiful.

Sione Tuívailala Monū is an artist of the Tongan diaspora. They live between Canberra Australia and Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and work across the mediums of photography, moving-image, fashion and adornment, performance and drawing. Their practice explores identity, family and pasifika queer experience in the diaspora.
