You are warmly invited join us as we welcome Lakiloko Keakea: Fafetu to The Dowse Art Museum.
Fafetu is the first major solo exhibition of Keakea's work, and features pieces produced within the last two years, building on a practice of over five decades.
This exhibition is curated by Malama T-Pole, an advocate for Tuvalu art forms and a member of the Niutao Community Trust. The exhibition is touring to The Dowse thanks to Objectspace.
Ms Keakea will be accompanied by her granddaughter Patricia Filipi and Tapania Taiki, President of Fafine Niutao I Aotearoa.
