Join curator Theresa Tongi and the Lalaga Youth Ambassadors as they bring to life the powerful collaborative spirit of Lalaga: Le Hui Fono. Through a Pacific lens, they’ll reveal how the interconnectedness of ideas, practices, and cultural storytelling has shaped the collective vision of this unique journey.
This exhibition showcases new commissions, including those developed in the gallery, alongside emergent outcomes resulting from a dynamic process of residencies and cultural exchanges among artists from Ngāmotu, Sāmoa, Fiji, and Tonga, from 2022 onwards.
