The Handmade Darkroom is a photographic collective based in Te Whanganui-a-tara focused on exploring and expanding on the sustainability of analogue photography in the face of the enduring climate crisis.
Join the handmade darkroom for this workshop on cyanotype! Discussing some historical and contemporary uses, then jumping into the process. Collectively we will work to create a mini-installation of cyanotype tea bags! Using film negatives, acetate negatives, plant matter and trinkets to create exposures, the mini-installation will be a showcase of the play happening in the workshop.
