Join artist Heidi Brickell at Enjoy Contemporary Art Space for a special Matariki wānanga on Friday 28 June, from 1pm.

As the exhibition A koru is a trajectory closes and Matariki commences, we will gather together to participate in a relaxed rākau twining workshop while hearing kōrero from Brickell about the interconnectivity of Matariki, Tāwhirimātea and ngā kare ā-roto. This emotional terminology reflecting the ocean or the waves inside is relevant not only to our current exhibition and artist’s mahi toi, but also to our lives right now.
