Join us for October's Monica Brewster Evening with Emily Perkins in conversation with Kiran Dass.

Emily Perkins is a New Zealand novelist, short story writer, playwright and lecturer. In 2011 Perkins received an Arts Foundation of New Zealand Laureate Award and her most recent book Lioness won the 2024 top prize for fiction at the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.

Writer and critic Kiran Dass is Programme Director for WORD Christchurch and has written about books, music and culture for publications ranging from NZ Herald to the Guardian, North & South to Vice.

Monica Brewster Evenings are produced in partnership with Govett Quilliam - The Lawyers, with further event support from Michael Radich Wine Merchants, Theory Food, and Shining Peak brewing.
