Monoprinting is the production of a unique print, often with elements repeatable. Creating a monoprint is to allow ink and plate and print to go through a transformation. There is a fusion of idea and process and the resulting image can be surprising and beautiful. In this workshop we explore different techniques of marking a plate, layering textures, creating ghost prints and building up an image through subtle overlays of prints. Playful and explorative, this workshop creates a good foundation in printmaking.
Sunday 27th October 10am-1pm (3 hours)
$95
Location: Owhanake Barn 57 Owhanake Rd. Oneroa
Limited to 10 places, book here
