Nota Bene is Wellington’s most versatile chamber choir, with a reputation for innovation. For Hilma af Klint: The Secret Paintings, an all-female choir sing a cappella arrangements inspired by The Ten Largest (1907). Over three metres tall, these monumental paintings give abstract form to the four stages of human life—childhood, youth, adulthood and old age. Nota Bene’s selection of songs resonate with the themes of nature, evolution, and mysticism.
