Come and meet the artists who work in the studios at Parnell Rail Station at the annual open studios event.
Over a coffee and donuts, chat with Abigail Aroha Jensen, Raukura Turei, Sarah Holten-Warren, Tira Walsh, Qianye Lin, Qianhe ‘AL’ Lin, JingCheng Zhao, and Susu – and see where they work and what they are currently making. Read more about the resident artists here.
The artist studios in the historic building at Parnell Rail Station are run by Te Tuhi, alongside an experimental project space, Chez Derriere, curated by Te Tuhi’s curatorial intern, Felixe Laing.
Te Tuhi’s Parnell Station project was instigated by Stephanie Post and has been developed by Te Tuhi in partnership with Auckland Transport. The Graduate Studio Residencies at Te Tuhi Studios are supported by Connells Bay Sculpture Trust and Jenny and Andrew Smith.
Alongside the Open Studios, Chez Derriere, Te Tuhi’s Parnell Project Space programmed by Curatorial Intern Felixe Laing, is hosting Play workshop: Headshot kitchen. To find out more and book a place in the workshop, click here.
