Join us to celebrate the opening of Offering, a new installation by Cindy Huang.

The artist will welcome you with kai and an artist talk where she will discuss her research, the creative process, and the stories reflected in her work.

Offering delves into Cindy Huang’s exploration of the Tauiwi Chinese New Zealand community in Te Matau-a-Māui, both past and present, with a focus on the region's market gardens, gardeners, and grocers.

This event will feature on a bus tour transporting visitors between Napier, Hastings and Waipawa on the weekend of Paerangi: Waipawa, an exhibition which features seven Toi Māori artists and takes place in various non-gallery spaces in Waipawa from 19-20 October.
