Tomislav Nikolic’s new group of works pay the prophets to justify your reason, includes seven new works - steel framed, wooden panels that celebrate colour and its emotive power. Like medieval icons, the panels themselves are ever so gently convex and will in time invite fissures to appear - its stubborn organic life still evident. A second suite in seven parts, uses Nikolic’s extravagant frames which are fully co-opted into the structure, composition and rainbow of colour. That "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts” is wildly evident. This will be his ninth solo show with the galleries.
