Join exhibiting artists Lisa Crowley, Selina Ershadi and Nova Paul for an in-depth panel discussion on Photosynthesisers: Women and the lens. Moderated by Curator James Gatt, this panel will address key ideas and works in the exhibition, unpacking the notion of embedded sites through photography and video. The exhibition brings together photographs and videos by 41 women artists and collectives from Aotearoa and Australia produced between the 1960s and 2024 by four generations of artists.

Photosynthesisers: Women and the lens is accompanied by a reader, which collates 30 texts produced between 1981 and 2024 by artists, curators, and writers.
