Join Artspace Aotearoa at Academy Cinemas for the Premiere of Prairies Drama Club, a documentary by Finnbar Porteous following the Public Programme that was a part of Cruel Optimism.

This is also the launch of a pair of limited release retrospective zines. The zines reflect on the past two iterations of the New Artist Show, Cruel Optimism and Between the Gift and its Reprisal, and will be available for purchase at a special price.
