Public submissions: Principles of the Treaty of Waiting Bill 2025
Venue: Te Wai o Ngutu Kākā, performed by Layne Waerea.
The time/date for oral submissions (2 mins max) is Saturday, 03 May, from 1.00 pm 2025. First in, first served.
Please join us to ensure that your voice is heard on the Principles of the Treaty of Waiting Bill. Share your perspective, and help us shape the future of waiting in Aotearoa.
The committee intends to record all public submissions with audio and video technology, CCTV, and personal mobile phone/camera devices.
Please register your intention to make a public/oral submission on the day from 12.30 pm. Or just show up. The Waiting Committee strongly encourages those wishing to make submissions to register early and that submissions should not include strong swear words, racist material, and abusive personal reflections. The committee will decide whether a submission meets the above criteria.
Light refreshments will be provided.
All welcome to the series of talks and events for A Time of Waiting, an expansive exhibition which headlines our 2025 programme. For more information, please see our website.
