Reflections and Facets is an exhibition featuring the works of seven students from the Dunedin School of Art, working in the jewellery and metalsmithing studio. This is a show case of works ranging from tradition materials and techiniques to more experimental and multi disciplinary practices.
This exhibition highlights the excitement in the emerging contemporary jeweller’s practices and a generative period in their careers as they engage in richness of contemporary jewellery. The environment of close community is fostered by a shared open studio allowing for the sharing of skills and ideas across year levels.
The artists included in this show are Jamie Cook, Haocheng Zhang, Maddison Barker, Jan Donnie, Rose Pickernell, Nona Shackleton and Michaela Woolf.
