Bruno Anso and Tyrone Wood present a practical workshop that looks to mycology: the practice of mushroom cultivation and propagation.

Using D.I.Y methods and cost-effective materials, the evening will develop an educative framework that looks to spores, liquid media, substrate, and fruiting as a guide to setting up small at-home fungiculture.

Bruno and Tyrone will facilitate collective discussion around urban foodways, waste diversion and food sovereignty as a way of building upon our knowledge and collective understanding of mana motuhake.

This workshop seeks to instill a regenerative perspective on gardening and its relationship to the culinary through defining modes of agriculturalism that stand against commercial interference, global shipping and phosphate mining.
