In its ongoing commitment to support and provide opportunities for live performance, the Wallace Arts Trust is proud to present an eclectic array of musicians and musical genres in the Sunday Concert Series for 2019.
In October, New Zealand’s “foremost chronicler of 21st Century bourgeois dilemmas”, Lawrence Arabia, plays an intimate solo performance. The award-winning Auckland songwriter is fresh from wrapping up his year-long Singles Club project, and its subsequent domestic and international tours, to go it alone for one night only in this unique venue.
Lawrence Arabia is a connoisseur of classic song-writing, creating timeless music inspired as much by 1970s West Coast Americana as the enduring music of Flying Nun Records. His quirky indie pop are sure to delight.
