The craft of hand-cutting wood is old and with that comes the feeling of a slower time. The connection with the tools and the slow building of your plate through cutting away is one of my favourite activities. I also like the effect of the grain of wood in the final print. These two workshops are designed to give space to designing and explore techniques of woodcutting, through to flat colour roll ups, and reduction printing.
