Birds from Another Continent is part of Rozana Lee’s ongoing project that draws on ideas surrounding migration, identity, and the role of material culture in fostering a sense of belonging that is grounded in diversity. Working across painting, moving image and textiles, Lee explores the concept of ‘home’ as an assemblage of fragments: places, objects, relationships and memories, and a feeling that can travel with us anywhere and everywhere we go.
