This exhibition of Louise Purvis’ work is timed to coincide with the celebration of the Wellington Sculpture Trust’s 40th Anniversary. It is entitled C87300, the technical name for silicon bronze, and the primary medium for this exhibition. Works are grouped in four different organic themes: Plants & Paperbags, Models, Houses & Discs. All sculptures illustrate a simplicity which belies the complexity of their physical production. To quote Louise ‘The work is my words.'
