• Ursula Bradley, Nat Kai Emmet Miller and Ben Martley

Envy6011 is excited to present its inaugural exhibition, Charmed, bringing together three artists whose work engages with hypnotic encounters. Dreamy, fantastical allusions swirl around and haunt the paintings, some things feel familiar, while other elements mull over the dystopic.

Charmed, feeling lucky as though protected by magic..

Ursula Bradley is in her final year at Elam School of Fine Arts. Through painting, she focuses on daily objects she encounters building for them a new environment. She has recently had a solo exhibition Sexy Show at Satchi & Satchi & Satchi (2020), and will be included in an upcoming group show at Discordia Gallery, Melbourne.

Nat Kai Emmet Miller (b.1998) is currently completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at Massey University. He makes sculptures and paintings with a strong focus on alienation, substance, and dreams. Recent shows include Sharing things with Friends at Saatchi & Saatchi & Saatchi (2021).

Ben Martley (b.1993) is a painter currently specialising in and experimenting with oil painting. His works draw on the forms and grammars of decorative arts as well as digitally-modded references, with a focus on painterly process and procedure. Recent shows include Dizzying Drive with Tyrone Wahanui and Alexandra Mcfarlane at Sanc (2021).
