The University of Auckland’s Elam Artists Graduate Show provides the opportunity for our exceptional emerging artists to share their most distinguished ideas and insights into contemporary art. In addition to a celebration of the completion of their studies, the exhibition serves as an introduction of their work to the wider arts community, attracting prospective students, artists, curators and collectors.
This annual event is a weekend-long art exhibition comprising the work of more than 100 graduating students from Elam School of Fine Arts. Featuring a breadth of artworks rich in variety, the exhibition will include painting, sculpture, photography, installation, sound work, design and multimedia projects.
Each year, a number of Elam graduates go on to forge significant careers in a range of creative fields both in New Zealand and overseas, so we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to catch a glimpse of the future of contemporary arts practice, and the next generation of New Zealand artists.
