Envy is a commercial gallery in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, interested in fostering relationships between intergenerational artists from Aotearoa and abroad. The gallery focuses on curated group presentations alongside solo exhibitions on a regular monthly programme.



Travis MacDonald (b. 1990, Bunnythorpe, New Zealand) lives and works in Berlin. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Victorian College for the Arts, Melbourne in 2011 and has been exhibiting regularly since. Travis has recently exhibited at Linseed Projects, China; The Commercial, Sydney; and held solo exhibitions at Envy in 2022 and the 2024 Aotearoa Art Fair. He is included in upcoming group exhibitions at CFA, Berlin and Bernheim Gallery in London and Zürich.

He was awarded the Geelong Gallery Contemporary Art Prize Winner in 2024, where his work, The top of the pond (2024), now lives in their permanent collection.

Travis will be presenting new mixed media oil paintings for the May Art Fair.



Anna Sisson (b. 1994 Auckland) is an artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. She graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts with a BFA (Hons) in 2016. She uses diverse mediums, with a focus on sculpture. Her feminist and LGBTQ+ perspective in her work centres around the concept of the closet, escapism and fantasy while subverting the status-quo. Recent exhibitions include: Forgotten Altar, RM Gallery, Auckland (2023); Issues, Envy, Wellington (2022); Imaginations Bosom, Lemon Pepper Gallery, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (2022); Meet Me Outside The Chatroom, Neo Gracie, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (2020); Remnants of the Banished, Michael Lett, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (2016).

Anna will be presenting a new series of stained glass lead works with inlaid canvases for the May Art Fair.



Suji Park (b. 1985, Seoul, South Korea) lives and works in South Korea. She completed a MFA at Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, 2013. Recent exhibitions include: Private Ruins, Ivan Anthony, Auckland (2024); Chrysalis (w/ Andrew Beck), Envy, Wellington (2024); Noise Collector, The Dowse Art Museum, Lower Hutt Wellington (2022); Meonji Soojibga | Dust Collector, Auckland Art Gallery (2022). She recently completed a year long residency, Between Broken Languages, at the Factory of Contemporary Arts in Palbok, Jeonju, Korea (2022).

Park was the McCahon House artist in residence, 2015.

For May Art Fair Suji will be creating a series of new mixed media sculptural works.
