Wayne Youle’s silhouette cut-outs have been an integral part of his practice for several years and are often a deeply personal reflection of the artist himself.
{Suite} Wellington is pleased to present an exhibition of five new cut-out works that are a form of self portrait, representing different facets of Wayne’s life. These sophisticated pieces incorporate familiar motifs from past works and new imagery, including Picasso’s dove, Rita Angus’s seahorse and Georgie O’Keefe’s Skull.
