An exhibition with the Silver Smiths of studio38. A celebration of the hoop earring. Fashioned and worn for millennia, once part of the ensemble of Kings and Queens, a statement of confidence and diversity, its natural organic circular form symbolises wholeness, unity, and infinity.
The Silver Smiths are a local group of jewellery artists working from Colin Forster’s studio 38 in central Queenstown. Since 90’s Colin has run a creative jewellery teaching and making space alongside his own Goldsmith practice.
