Iconography of Doubt, by PhD candidate Esther Deans. Deans’ practice is concerned with fragile ecologies; be it at a global scale, such as the impact of climate change, or a social domain, such as communities of faith, which Deans describes as 'ecosystems of fellowship'. The exhibition draws on various sources, including ideas of eschatology, time, literature, art history, memory, and nature, to speak to universal themes through a unique and distinctively personal painterly language.
