Envy6011 - Real Fine Art is pleased to present Nightcore an exhibition of new and recent paintings - bringing together Tāmaki Makaurau based artist Pippi Nola alongside international peers, Catherine Mulligan (USA), Michelle Uckotter (USA) and Victoria Todorov (AUS).

Nightcore looks at four artists whose work, each in their distinct style, explore figuration in colour-soaked campy settings. Pop culture nods toward club culture, slasher movies, candid night-out phone photos and music video references tangle the paintings together - Nightcore - chopped and screwed, sped up and spat out.

She has recently shown at Hans Gallery (Chicago, IL), Geary Contemporary (New York, NY), A.D Gallery (New York, NY), Kunst im Tunnel (Dusseldorf, GE), Gern en Regalia (New York, NY) and more. She holds an MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington (2019). She has an upcoming solo show at M+B (Los Angeles).

Pippi Nola is a Aotearoa / New Zealand artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. Recent solo exhibitions include: PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE - Satchi & Satchi & Satchi and BABIES (offsite), Auckland and BOYZ - Play_Station, Wellington.

She has an upcoming show with Spencer Lai at Bossy’s Gallery (Melbourne). Her work is held in private collections Australia-wide.
