One of Aotearoa–New Zealand’s most acclaimed artists, Fiona Pardington (Ngāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Ngāti Kahungunu) is celebrated for her representations of taonga, or cultural treasures. This November Starkwhite Queenstown is exhibiting new work and several of Pardington’s most loved images from her on-going still life series. Pardington’s latest work is The Prince of Wales (2023), a unique art work that links a royal scandal, one of the 20th century's most defining events, and the Otago region.

Starkwhite's opening will coincide with Queenstown's First Thursday Quarterly, an open late along Earl Street and Marine Parade + satellite event of experimental sound art at Bound Books and Records. See more on instagram and facebook @firstthursdaysqt
