A droll wit informs this small selection of recent work by Rob Hood that he has called Species. And there will be different species on show, ranging from photographic documentation of a banner for light aeroplane and sky about (the once notorious) Ron Don, to floorworks that may or may not explore the delicate problems of erosion in Canterbury’s high country.

Rob Hood is a multi-media artist who lives in Otautahi, Christchurch. Has has been an Olivia Spencer-Bower Fellow, and has exhibited regularly with Jonathan Smart Gallery since 2005.
