Tatyana’s experience of the Wairarapa is rather immediate: she was enamoured by the beautiful rural setting and the slower pace of life, breathtaking mountains and crisp rivers, big open sky and delicious fruit fresh off tree, adventure in diving for kaimoana and the closeness developed with people one gets to know in a small community. The effectiveness of the exhibition is suggested through direct relation of the scenes, objects and people in the Wairarapa region.
