TENT is a new Art Weekend taking place throughout Aotearoa and online, presented by the team who deliver the Auckland Art Fair. The inaugural edition of TENT will feature live exhibitions across the country and also online, and will take place from Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 November across New Zealand.

25+ galleries will present an off-site / pop-up exhibition, anywhere in Aotearoa New Zealand (but NOT in their own gallery space) – and at the same time, show the art online in specially created online viewing rooms at www.tent.art

play_station will be setting up camp at the Sutton House in Ōtautahi Christchurch – the former home of the Canterbury artist, Bill Sutton, near the inner city and within the boundaries of the residential red zone. Bill Sutton lived and worked in the house, designed by his friend Tom Taylor, from 1963 until his death in 2000. play_station have invited studio artists and recent exhibitors to present works in situ of the red zone — reflecting on the changing nature of the city and landscape, 10 years on from the 2011 earthquake.
