TENT is a new Art Weekend taking place throughout Aotearoa and online, presented by the team who deliver the Auckland Art Fair. The inaugural edition of TENT will feature live exhibitions across the country and also online, and will take place from Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 November across New Zealand.

25+ galleries will present an off-site / pop-up exhibition, anywhere in Aotearoa New Zealand (but NOT in their own gallery space) – and at the same time, show the art online in specially created online viewing rooms at www.tent.art

Intra-action is an exhibition of new work by Te Whanganui-a-Tara based artists Isabelle Russell and Dayle Palfreyman. The show will be presented by RM Gallery and will take place at drive-thru, an emerging Newtown space with large windows that make for ideal viewing day or night. The work will be open to public viewing in person and online HERE from November 4 as a part of the inaugural TENT 2021.

Isabelle Russell and Dayle Palfreyman opened ‘To Dissipate’ at Play_Station space in 2020, this will be their second public exhibition together. As frequent collaborators their works overlap with a shared interest in bodily autonomy and the inseparable links we have to our surroundings. Russell will be presenting a new series of photographic work, while Palfreyman has developed two new sculptural pieces for this project.

A Phantom billsticker campaign will also run two weeks leading up to the show to promote Intra-action.
