TENT is a new Art Weekend taking place throughout Aotearoa and online, presented by the team who deliver the Auckland Art Fair. The inaugural edition of TENT will feature live exhibitions across the country and also online, and will take place from Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 November across New Zealand.

25+ galleries will present an off-site / pop-up exhibition, anywhere in Aotearoa New Zealand (but NOT in their own gallery space) – and at the same time, show the art online in specially created online viewing rooms at www.tent.art

Scott Lawrie Gallery was planning to partner with Naumi Studio Hotel Wellington for TENT. Given current travel restrictions, the works in the planned exhibition will now be viewable in the TENT online presentations, and also by appointment at Scott Lawrie Gallery in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

The gallery will be showcasing a wide range of work by gallery artists, many made exclusively for the TENT presentation, while celebrating Naumi Hotel’s love of art, culture, and individual expression. Scott Lawrie invites you to view the planned exhibition of works by 15 artists, online during TENT – and in person, by appointment, during the TENT weekend.

“We were planning to present artworks in the foyer, the bar area, and a VIP suite of Naumi Studio Hotel Wellington – extraordinarily special spaces!
