In Time Beds, Rebecca Steedman presents a series of ceramic vessels related to Wairarapa waterways, with a focus of Castlepoint, as well key moments within the journey of the Ruamāhanga River on a journey toward Lake Ōnoke and oceanic seabeds at Cape Palliser. In these works she reflects on excavations and archaeological digs, shifting landscapes, and aquatic futures as sea levels rise and landscapes shift and change, and geological formations and seabeds are unearthed.
