Two Waters: Wairua is the galleries final exhibition for 2020 as well as our first exhibition as Laree Payne Gallery. We welcome Aotearoa artist, Maia McDonald, and her uku (clay) works as well as Australian artist, Lottie Consalvo, who will be exhibiting paintings.
Two Waters: Wairua celebrates the fact that both artists reach to the earth for their palette, and leave unfussy evidence of the hand in their texturally rich work. Creating work which contains a knowing and embodied presence, the work of both artists speak to the elemental and the lived experience.
